Welcome to the Nissim Douek Medical Technology and Simulation Center (M.T.S)

The Nissim Douek Medical Technology and Simulation Center, Israel’s premier technology-learning center, was established to provide hands-on instruction and training in an innovative, real-time environment that simulates the delivery of medical, nursing and para-medical treatment, and allied health services.

Anesthesiology

Familiarity with basic anesthetics and preparing equipment for performing rapid sequence induction (RSI); familiarity with RSI steps in performing the procedure; conducting preliminary aspiration treatment steps; and basic management of the surgical team

Familiarity with procedures conducted on the pediatric ward, including skill building for performing these procedures, with emphasis on proper technique and complying with infection prevention protocols

How to choose and administer the appropriate anesthetics for diagnosed fractures; how to select and perform the appropriate reconstruction techniques; and how to position and set limbs properly during casting

Psychiatry

The course is designed for psychiatry residents during their first half-year of residency in general medical centers
