ICU Skills Course

• The aim of the course is to train physicians in basic intensive care skills, including intubation and airway management, basic artificial respiration principles, familiarity with respirators and respiration techniques, handling common challenges and complications with artificial respiration patients, principles of treating shock, inserting a central line using ultrasound- guided procedures, and pleural and peritoneal drainage.
  
• The course is intended for residents after at least 3 months of residency in internal medicine or the ER.
  
• The course is in the format of 2 full days of training once every 6 months.
