The Rehabilitation Division at Ichilov stands out as one of Israel's largest and most experienced rehabilitation establishments, dedicated to offering a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach for individuals recovering from vehicular accidents, severe trauma, and intricate surgeries.
Anticipating a substantial need for rehabilitative care in the aftermath of the current war, Ichilov is enhancing its rehabilitative capabilities by expanding the Rehabilitation Division and transforming it into a standalone hospital facility. The facility is located near the main hospital building at 13 Henrietta Sold St. in Tel Aviv.
We firmly believe that Israel's next medical frontier is rehabilitation, and we are readying ourselves for this national imperative. At Ichilov, our philosophy entails initiating the rehabilitative process as soon as possible after the patient exits the surgical suite. A dedicated coordination nurse will provide consistent support (coordinated with the Army Medical Link Unit - RAM 2) during the acute hospitalization phase, tailoring a rehabilitation plan in collaboration with all involved medical teams.
Our commitment includes minimal waiting periods for both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Additionally, we facilitate continuous rehabilitation, even between surgeries or treatments at the neighboring general hospital, eliminating unnecessary periods without rehabilitation.
The revamped Rehabilitation program, labeled "Bishvilam" (“For Them”) will encompass:
- 120 inpatient general rehabilitation beds (supplemented by 60 geriatric rehabilitation beds situated in the main hospital).
- 100 day-hospitalization stations.
- Tele-rehabilitation facilities.
- Psychological rehabilitation center with a focus on PTSD treatment.
- Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy Institutes.
- Gait analysis laboratory.
- Therapeutic aquatic center.
- Pain management institute.
We prioritize the well-being of our patients and their families by providing amenities including parking, transportation options, and accommodations for relatives within the hospital's adjoining hotel.
