“When our children require any kind of medical treatment, we parents become flooded with fear, mostly of the unknown.
“Our son required brain surgery, and we chose for him to be operated at the Children’s Neurosurgery Department at the Dana Duek Children’s Hospital, under the supervision of Professor Shlomi Constantini.
“There is no doubt that this department’s business is in saving lives. The caring, dedicated treatment that our son received, the empathetic and warm support we received from the medical staff and from the nurses, really helped us as parents get through this difficult experience.
As a way to express our appreciation to the Dana Dwek Hospital, we decided to make a recurring monthly donation of 100 shekels ($25) to the neurosurgery department. My wife and I know that it is donations that will help to fund advanced research in the field of neurosurgery, and to purchase advanced equipment like that which saved our son’s life”.
