Essential support for expectant and new mothers
Mammy Lis is a maternity club for women and their partners throughout pregnancy, during delivery, and into the baby's first year of life.
Mammy Lis offers a range of support activities under one roof, including prenatal classes, breastfeeding classes, Cpr classes and delivery room tours.
We also have baby massage for babies and their parents – after birth.
The Mammy Lis Team
The Mammy Lis team includes a multidisciplinary staff of doctors, midwives, credentialed breastfeeding counselors (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants - IBCLC), physiotherapists, and psychologists specializing in women's physical and emotional health.
Staff members are available to offer guidance and help with every question and problem-in a sensitive and supportive environment.
Our vision at "Mammy lis" maternity club is to enable parents and parents-to-be to acquire knowledge, tools and confidence, which will help them go through the stages of pregnancy, birth and the first stages of parenting in a more beneficial and confident way.

Mammy Lis courses
The course is organized and taught by certified midwives who work in the delivery rooms in Lis hospital.
The course includes 3 sessions of approximately 3 hours each.
An opportunity to receive professional information that will help you prepare for childbirth - what to pay attention to towards the end of the pregnancy? Information about the delivery room? All types of childbirth? Techniques for dealing with pain, painkillers and more
Each session is 3 hours between 19:00-22:00
One of the sessions includes a tour of the delivery room, the ER and the maternity wards.
The childbirth preparation course is intended for women starting the 30th week of their pregnancy and their partners.
It is recommended to reserve a place in the course at week 20-22.
Course cost: 490 NIS, for "Mammy-Lis" members 441 NIS and for Clalit Mushmal members: 200 NIS.
For mothers giving birth at the "Lis" Women's and Maternity Hospital, a full refund!
After giving birth, please send an email to mamylis@tlvmc.gov.il and state your ID number - the details will be verified and the refund will be made within 60 days

Our infant and child CPR course is delivered by a certified and professional CPR and first-aid instructor from "Angels of the Way."
The course is designed to provide parents with all the necessary knowledge in CPR and first aid for infants and children from birth to 8 years of age. It covers all common emergency situations: suffocation, febrile convulsions, drowning, sudden infant death syndrome, dehydration, poisoning, and more (details below).
The training is delivered in an experiential, relaxing, and practical way, with a central emphasis on prevention and practice. Each participant practices on CPR mannequins with a defibrillator, performs the Heimlich maneuver, and uses a dummy epinephrine syringe (Epi-Pen).
Course contents include:
- CPR for infants and children, including the use of a defibrillator
- Treatment and prevention of suffocation in babies and children, with practical practice ("Gordon" pats for babies and the Heimlich maneuver for children)
- Life-threatening allergies, including the use of an epinephrine syringe (Epi-Pen)
- Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)
- Anxiety states: anxiety attacks, blue face syndrome
- Fever and febrile convulsions
- Dehydration
- Heatstroke
- Poisoning
- Drowning
- Electrocution
- Burns
- Treatment of cuts and bleeding
- Falls and head injuries

Expectant mothers and their birthing partners are invited to take a guided tour of the delivery suite, maternity ward, and newborn nursery.
During the tour, you will learn about various options for your baby's delivery, hear about hospital practices, and view the state-of-the-art facilities.
English tours are available and free of charge. When contacting us to schedule, please make sure to request a tour in English.
Tour duration – app 60-90 minutes
In the workshop we will experiment with using our intuitive touch for nurturing and loving touch and strengthening the parent-baby bond.
The baby will learn to recognize the limits of his body and enjoy a variety of health and developmental benefits, including improved sleep quality, relief from stomach aches and gas, strengthening the immune system, relief in cases of excessive crying and restlessness, and more.
In addition, we will learn when is the best time to massage, which oils are recommended to use, and important safety rules for performing the massage.
