Obstetrical and gynecological ultrasounds

The Unit for Maternal Ultrasound is one of the leading units in the country and is equipped with the most modern, advanced ultrasound technology.

The unit performs a wide range of examinations to assess pregnancy and fetal development, including routine pregnancy follow-up, nuchal translucency, early and late screening scans, evaluation of fetal abnormalities, 3D ultrasound, and genetic diagnostic procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, umbilical cord sampling, and fetal muscle biopsy.

The unit also provides monitoring for high-risk pregnancies, including assessment of fetal growth, fetal and uterine blood flow, and amniotic fluid volume. Additional fetal procedures include aspiration of fetal cysts and fetal reduction when required.

Most examinations are performed by physicians with extensive experience in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound.

The unit performs a wide range of gynecological diagnostic examinations, including pelvic ultrasound, blood flow studies (Doppler), hydrosonography, and ultrasound-guided procedures such as cyst aspiration.
