Medical simultaneous translation
Patients needing translation during hospital treatment, testing, or a hospital service, or staff members who wants to improve communication with a patient can contact a simultaneous translation service operated by the Ministry of Health. The hotline is operated by professional interpreters; information is anonymous and confidential. Translation services are available in Arabic , Russian, Amharic, Tigrinya and French.

A three-way conference call between the translator, patient, and staff member can also be requested.
Hours of operation: Sunday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. – 13:00 p.m.
