The Imaging Division at Tel Aviv Medical Center provides diagnostic imaging services for hospitalized patients, operating rooms, adult and pediatric emergency departments, outpatient clinics, community referrals, tourists, and international patients. The imaging team is trained to provide rapid response in medical emergencies and life-threatening situations.
The Medical Center’s radiographers and imaging technologists operate advanced imaging equipment and digital systems, providing high-quality diagnostic examinations.
The Division performs imaging examinations covering all areas of the body, including the brain and nervous system, blood vessels, musculoskeletal system, abdomen, pelvis, and breast. Imaging supports cancer assessment before and after treatment, evaluation of injuries and trauma, further investigation of findings detected in other examinations, and early diagnosis.
Examinations are performed according to established protocols and quality assurance standards, with particular emphasis on reducing radiation exposure. Advanced technologies, including DR imaging systems and dose-reduction software in CT, help minimize radiation exposure. Images are interpreted by radiologists specializing in the relevant field.
