The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Unit provides immediate initial assessment and treatment for infants, children and adolescents who require urgent medical care, with priority given to critically ill or medically unstable patients.
The unit treats a broad range of medical conditions and injuries, including cuts, burns, poisoning and falls, as well as common childhood illnesses such as fever, diarrhea, breathing difficulties, infectious diseases and various inflammatory conditions. The team is also equipped to manage complex medical cases, emergencies and life-threatening conditions.
