Surgery Division


The Department of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) - Head and Neck Surgery at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center treats a wide range of patients who need surgical or conservative treatments for the nasal passages, sinuses, ears, mouth, pharynx, throat, head and neck regions, or the base of the brain.

Medical proficiency and experience

Doctors in the department perform complex surgical procedures to remove benign and malignant tumors in the skull base, head, neck, and trachea, as well as reconstructive surgery. The department offers various types of hearing impairment surgeries, including procedures to improve auditory function; endoscopic surgery of the nose, nasal passages, and upper pharynx; vocal cord and speech improvement surgery; snoring reduction surgery; nose reconstruction; and pediatric surgery.

The department clinic provides diagnostic, consulting, and treatment for dizziness, hearing loss, and a wide array of ENT illnesses in adults and children.

Patients treated by the department receive the full range of care necessary, with progressive methods and advanced state-of-the-art optical instruments and digital imaging equipment. Multidisciplinary procedures are conducted in conjunction with the departments of neurosurgery and plastic surgery.
