Most Israelis that travel to the Far East, to South America or to Africa begin their journey at "Sharal" Medical Service for Travelers. "Sharal" gives pre-travel advice and informational brochures that are relevant to the course of travel, all required immunizations and an immunization card in accordance with the World Health Organization (WHO) and instruction on preventing malaria. The clinic also gives advise via the telephone to travelers while they are traveling outside of the country.
The "Sharal" Clinic is managed by doctors who are specialized in immunizations and preventive medicine, are assisted by computerized collection and are updated frequently by the World Health Organization (WHO) and by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in the United States.
