The Center uses the most advanced modalities and equipment for diagnosis, consultation, conservative treatment, and surgery. For example, sentinel node surgery, which involves selective excision of the sentinel glands identified by gamma-ray detectors, makes it possible to prevent the removal of all axillary lymph nodes (axillary lymph node dissection). In addition, the Center specializes in new onco-plastic surgical techniques.
Rapid recovery with caring support
The Center provides patient consultation and support both before and after surgery. Patients receive comprehensive instruction in advance of the various stages of surgery and personalized treatment following it. In addition, support groups and psychological counseling help contribute to a rapid return to normal life. A clinic within the Center provides routine check-ups and follow-up, and serves women at high risk based on family history or who are carriers of the BRCA gene mutation.
