Psychiatry Division; Dana-Dwek Children’s Hospital

​The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit diagnoses and treats emotional disorders in children and adolescents up to the age of 18.

​A broad range of diagnostic and treatment approaches

The unit provides comprehensive therapies, including psychiatric, biological, pharmacological, and psychotherapeutic for most conditions. Individual and group therapies using a dynamic approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, and movement therapy are also standard treatment regimens.

The unit applies the latest clinical methods, psychodiagnostics, and computerized tools to accurately diagnose patient conditions.

The unit also provides counseling services to children in departments throughout Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center's facilities, including Dana-Dwek Children's Hospital, pediatric clinics, and emergency rooms. Parents also receive instruction as necessary in caring for their children.
