Rheumatology

The Institute of Rheumatology at the Tel Aviv Medical Center is the largest of its kind in Israel. The institute includes an outpatient clinic, a day-care hospitalization unit holding 6 beds and a laboratory for arthritis research. The institute offers consultation, diagnosis, treatment and follow up for a variety of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases including Sjogren syndrome.

The institute is one of three national units authorized to provide specialization in Rheumatology. The medical staff of the Institute includes seven physicians specialized in internal medicine and in Rheumatology, three residents of rheumatology, and two registered nurses.
