On the 29th of October, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center hosted its 10th Silicon Valley event, in Los Altos Hills, California. The event was a unique assembly of 3 recent Nobel Prize winners, who come together to provide an exciting glimpse into their vision and aspirations after the prize.

The event started with a cocktail reception for over 120 attendees, whom are community leaders from San Francisco and Silicon Valley. The reception opened with welcoming words from both Dr. Karin Lachmi the Managing Director, Western Region, TASMC (Ichilov) US and Dr. Andy David the Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Northwest Region. The welcoming words were followed by 20-minute talks, given by each Nobel Laureate:

The event closed with engaging wording from Mr. Itzik Agam, who shared his personal story and connection to Ichilov after getting injured during the Yom Kippur war. He also explained his perspective on the importance and need to support our hospital to maintain its excellence, and to help it active new goals. Mr. Agam mentioned two important projects that we hope will receive support: 1) Purchase of a Genome Sequencer, 2) Revamping of the PICU.

The event was covered by the Israeli press: Lady Globes and Israel Hayom, and was also featured in the US newspaper: The J. Weekly in San Francisco.
