All operations are performed in modern operating rooms with a specialist pediatric anesthetist. To avoid major invasive surgery as much as possible, and to facilitate faster healing and recovery, surgeons often use laparoscopic techniques.

Innovative methods

The department has expertise in many of the modern techniques of laparoscopic surgeries in treating different diseases. The department has extensive experience in treating infections of the chest cavity using video assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), which shortens the period of patient hospitalization.
