General Description

The Department of Plastic Surgery at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center was established in 1964, and today specializes in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery.

Doctors in the Department conduct a wide range of surgical procedures that aim to provide medical treatment with an emphasis on aesthetics and the preservation of the wholeness and functionality of the body.

The main fields of plastic surgery include microsurgery, restoration and rehabilitation of scars, burns and congenital defects, breast restoration and surgery, skin growths and treatment for cleft palate.

The Department's medical team includes six senior specialists in plastic surgery, six interns and a nursing staff, including a head nurse, deputy, nurses, physiotherapists and a psychologist.

There are ten wards, with 19 beds. The department is on the 8th floor of the new Arison Hospitalization Tower, offering patients spacious and modern conditions.
