Diseases of the Eyelids, Tear Ducts and Eye Sockets

General Description

The Clinic for Diseases of the Eyelids, Tear Ducts and Eye Sockets (oculoplastics) diagnoses and treats diseases that involve the structures surrounding the eye, such as blockage of the tear ducts,  ptosis (drooping of the eyelid), removal of chalazion (a chronic stye), tumors in the eye sockets, congenital deformities of the eyelids and tumor-related diseases.

 

Main Services

Eyelids:

  • Surgical correction of incorrect eyelid positions (entropion and ectropion)
  • Correction of ptosis in children and adults
  • Correction of eyelash disorders by laser or surgery
  • Correction of congenital malformations of the eyelids
  • Treatment of all types of tumors on eyelids by laser or surgery
  • Correction and reconstruction of eyelid following trauma

Tear Ducts:

  • Treatment of dryness in the eyes
  • Surgical treatment for tear ducts obstruction

Eye Sockets:

  • Removal of tumors in the eye socket
  • Correction of proptosis (bulging eye)
  • Treatment of fractures in the eye socket
  • Reconstruction of the eye socket and fitting of prostheses
