Functional and Esthetic Nasal Surgery

The nose is a complete anatomical and functional unit, and distorted anatomy (external appearance) leads to distorted functioning. Therefore there is need for surgery that reconstructs the nose, giving it a normal appearance and enabling regular functioning.

Distorted septums often cause nasal blockages and difficulty in breathing through the nose, complaints which lead to conditions including runny noses, snoring, respiratory arrest during sleep, headaches, tiredness, lack of concentration, sinusitis, and nose bleeds.

Severe distortions of the septum might require a surgical procedure that is more complicated than a standard rectification of the septum. In other cases, the structure of the entire nose may cause external distortion.
