Hearing and Speech - Unit

General Description

The Unit conducts diagnoses and treats patients of all ages who suffer from hearing, language and speech disorders, and hearing and speech difficulties.

 

The Unit conducts clinical evaluations and other tests, such as hearing tests for adults, tympanometry, ENG, BERA, OAE, tinnitus characterization, computerized balancing tests (posturography), BERA tests in high-risk newborns and hearing tests for children.

The Unit also conducts evaluation tests for hearing aids.

 

The Unit comprises a multi-professional staff, including an ENT specialist, communications and occupational therapists, and physiotherapists specializing in the rehabilitation of patients suffering from balance disorders.
