Clinical and Administrative Experience

1969-1974 -       Teacher and tutor at the Tel Hashomer School of Nursing.

1971-1973 -       Nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Tel Hashomer.

1974-1980 -       Inspector of comprehensive schools, Nursing Branch, Ministry of Health.

1980-1982 -       Deputy Ward Manager, Internal Medicine Department, Meir Hospital.

1982-1986 -       Head Nurse, Hospice, Tel Hashomer.

1989-1994 -       Deputy National Head Nurse, Nursing Branch, Ministry of Health.

1994 onwards - Director of Nursing, Tel Aviv Medical Center.

 Special Assignments

1982-1986 - Inculcation of the concept of palliative care and pain management, counseling of staff and patients.

1989 -            Coordinator of the first advanced course in oncological nursing.

1991 -            Support group for nurses treating AIDS patients.

2000 -            Establishment of a wellness community within the framework of the Tel Aviv - Los Angeles Partnership.
