The Tel-Aviv Medical Center is one of six finest centers in the country and the largest hospital in Tel-Aviv. The Medical Center serve the entire metropolitan population of Tel-Aviv which includes 360,000 inhabitants and more than one million persons who enter the city daily for work, business, recreation and leisure.

The Medical Center is comprised of three hospitals : The general hospital “Ichilov”; the children’s hospital “Dana”; and the “Lis” hospital of Labor and Delivery. Additionally the Medical center is affiliated with the Medical Faculty of Tel-Aviv University which includes the Center for Medical and Nursing Studies.

At present, the nursing staff at the Tel-Aviv Medical Center numbers 1780 of which 1027 are Registered Nurses (R.N).

Nursing at our Medical Center copes with the challenges placed upon us by the health care system :

  • Improving patient satisfaction with care.
  • Strengthening the ability to compete for clientele.
  • Attracting qualified personnel to the system.

    Over the years, we have significantly advanced in all of our goals and objectives that we have placed upon ourselves and with additional challenges placed us by the health care system.

    As one of the most varied medical centers in Israel, the Tel-Aviv Medical Center offers numerous and compelling possibilities for the young, impressive staff at the hospital while encouraging and supporting innovative and new ideas, advanced work methods and fostering excellence.

    At our medical center, we understand that one of the most important resources is nursing and therefore we invest great effort and resources in orientation and training of new nurses, in the professional advancement of each nurse, in identifying and developing professional career potential, encouraging varied opportunities for learning, assistance with course tuition and especially in creating a pleasant, flouring and interesting work environment while giving attention and a listening ear to the needs of each and every one of the professional staff.
