Lis Maternity Hospital, formerly an independent maternity hospital in a different part of the city, has been operating since 1997 in our new residence in the Tel Aviv Medical Center and is one of the three largest obstetrics and gynecology hospitals in central Israel.

Departments and Services

The hospital includes two maternity departments that allow flexible rooming in arrangements for those who wish; 12 private labor and delivery suites and an elegant Natural Delivery suite; as well as independent operating theatres that allow a quick response to any problems that may arise during labor and delivery, requiring surgical intervention.

We also operate: a gynecology department, a maternal-fetal medicine department, an IVF unit, a male fertility institute and sperm bank, an ultrasound unit, a cervical pathology unit, a urogynecology and pelvic floor clinic, a menopause clinic and various gynecology clinics including pregnancy loss, sexual dysfunction, hysteroscopy and others. Lis hospital also includes a neonatal department, situated close to the maternity wards, and a modern, state-of-the-art NICU/PICU department geared to giving each baby individual and optimal care.

These services, as well as diverse research activity, have made us a leading medical and scientific center for women's health.
The availability of other medical services provided by the various Tel Aviv Medical Center departments, including many that are leaders in their fields, enable us to give immediate response to more complex cases.

Lis Maternity Hospital employs a professional team of physicians, nurses, social workers and para-medical personnel that attend to thousands of women, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
It operates hand in hand with family care clinics in the city, allowing continuity of care after discharge from the hospital.

Our staff, our departments, management plans and even the architectural design of the buildings are all geared to responding to our patients' medical, physical and emotional needs.
