Main description
The Diviosion of Geriatric Internal Medicine of the Tel Aviv Medical Center performs diagnosis, treatment and short and mid-term rehabilitation of the elderly.
The Diviosion treats elderly patients at the acute onset of the disease with the goal of aiding the elderly return to maximal independence within a short period of time, according to his abilities and limitations.
The staff of the department includes doctors, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, dieticians, occupational and speech therapists.
