Main description
The department includes an outpatient clinic and day hospitalization unit that treatment and follow up of patients with complex medical cases that require intensive or multidisciplinary care.
Accordingly, diagnostic evaluations and treatments that can only be performed in a hospital setting are conducted in the day hospitalization unit, such as:
Blood and blood product transfusions
Aspiration of the chest and abdomen
Electric cardio-version to reverse atrial fibrillation.
