Main description
The Dermatology Department of the Tel Aviv Medical Center treats various skin conditions; infectious skin diseases, psoriasis and autoimmune skin diseases such as cutaneous lupus erythematosus, immunoblistering diseases such as pemphigus and bullous pemphigoid, skin lymphomas, fingernails and problems with the hair.
We are currently conducting screening and follow up of  pigmented nevi (moles) and other skin lesions using clinical exams and dermatoscopy.

The department includes an in-house hospitalization ward, a dermatology out- patient clinic which includes Phototherapy facilities (for the treatment of  patients suffering from psoriasis, vitiligo and mycosis fungoides), a laboratory for analyzing fungal diseases and a special skin research laboratory which studies drug eruptions and perform different immunoassays.
