1969-1973 - High school 'A' Tel-Aviv. Electronic/Scientific division.

1977 - Hebrew University, Hadassah Medical School.

1981 - Joined the combined MD-MSc program at Hebrew University
with Prof. Rami Rahamimoff at the dep. of Physiology

1984 - Master of Science in Neurobiology-Hebrew University. Cum-Laude.
Thesis: Glucose transport in nerves of normal and Diabetic rats.

1983 - Completion of M.D. studies.

Further studies:

1979 - Hippocampal electrophysiology with Dr. H. Jahnsen in Copenhagen.

1982 - Summer course (Cold Spring Harbor laboratories) on: ”sensory transduction”.

1991-1992 - Research fellowship in Neurotraumatology and Stroke NYU Medical Center (Wise Young MD, PhD).
