Main description
The Psychiatric Clinic provides its patients with diagnostic services, assessment, and various types of medical and emotional therapies. The clinic treats patients who suffer from the entire spectrum of mental illnesses and problems beginning with emotional crises and includes psychotic disturbances, depression, various types of fears and phobias, psychosomatic problems, post-traumatic syndrome, eating disorders and other problems.
Treatment includes a combination of biological therapies (medications, biofeedback, electric shock therapy) with psychotherapeutic modalities (crisis intervention, dynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy, etc.) A multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and nurses gives treatments to individuals, couples, families or groups.
The clinic provides diagnosis, treatment and psychiatric follow-up as well as various types of psychotherapy. In addition to these services, the clinic also operates a number of units and services including: The Unit for Family Therapy, group therapy, the Unit for Eating Disorders, the Unit for Disabled Army Personnel, disability assessment services and medical opinions, the Mother-Child Clinic, the Unit for Sexual Assault Treatment, emotional assistance for coping with difficult physical diseases, the Unit for Psycho-diagnosis and Neurophysiology, the Biofeedback Unit, hypnosis therapy.
