Main description
The Clinic for Eating Disorders treats both emotional-behavior aspects and medical-nutritional aspects of eating disorders. The multi-disciplinary staff includes a psychiatrist, a medical specialist in nutrition and metabolism, a nurse, a dietician and various psychotherapeutic specialists. The clinic offers multi-disciplinary assessment and a unique, individualized treatment program to all who are referred to the clinic.

Treatment programs include:
  • Dynamic emotional and behavioral treatment that includes specific psychotherapy coordinated with medical treatment to ease symptoms and behavioral patterns of eating disturbances, to lighten emotional hardship, and to assist with the unique needs of the referred patient.
  • Physiological-metabolic treatment that utilizes energy at rest, nutrition, body measurements and physical fitness.

    The various members of the professional staff provide individual, group and family
    therapy. Being located within the Medical Center enables specialized professional consultation and coordination of intensive treatment according the needs of the patient.
