Main description
The Unit for pediatric Gastroenterology treats premature babies, infants, children and adolescents who suffer from problems of the digestive system such as chronic diarrhea, constipation, lactose intolerance, celiac, small intestine diseases, underweight or overweight, and acute and chronic liver diseases.
The unit performs diagnostic endoscopy procedures, as needed, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, motility tests, rectal & esophageal manometria, PH probe, hydrogen breath test, tube feeding,PEG and liver biopsies.
