Main description
The Unit for Pediatric Hemato-Oncology of the Dana Children’s Hospital treats infants, children and youth who suffer from acute and chronic blood diseases and from hemato-oncological diseases such as lymphoma, brain tumors, leukemia and others.

The unit serves as the referral center for children from around the country and treats approximately 3,500 patients a year in the ambulatory clinic and in-house hospitalization unit.

The unit treats children who suffer from hemato-oncological diseases with chemotherapy. The unit is equipped with the best medical and research technology in the world, a playroom, staff rooms and an isolation room for those requiring it.

The unit is comprised of doctors, nurses, teachers and psychologists that work as a multi-disciplinary team to provide the sick child with the best care possible.
