Main description
The Unit for Pediatric Otolaryngology of the ”Dana” Children’s Hospital treats children with various disorders and problems:

  • Congenital and genetic disorders in communication and ears, nose and throat, including the head and neck;
  • Speech and hearing disorders, vocal problems such as hoarseness;
  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • Children with tracheotomies;
  • Chronic ear infections and their complications;
  • Chronic sinusitis;
  • Disturbance in nasal breathing;
  • Benign and malignant tumors of the ears, nose and throat system, head and neck;
  • Various ears, nose and throat infections;
  • Problems with swallowing and salivation;

    The unit performs examinations of the upper airway using fiber optic endoscopy. The unit holds an outpatient clinic three days of the week and performs surgeries twice a week.
