Additionally, the department utilizes ultra sound services to diagnose and treat joint dislocations and laboratory services to diagnose problems with ambulation.

A dedicated nursing staff experienced in pediatric treatment modalities characterizes the in-house hospitalization unit. The department staff also includes a professional caregiver and a play therapist who help to ease the stay of the hospitalized children.

The Pediatric Orthopedic Department keeps in close contact with children and their families after both simple and complex surgeries via the outpatient clinics. The department staff and various other medical professionals work closely together to provide optimal personal attention and professional care not only to treat the child’s illness, but also for the familial, social, and healthy welfare of the child.
