Main description
The Unit for Hand Surgery provides diagnosis, treatment and correction of a variety of traumatic hand injuries - fractures, dislocations, injuries to the tendons and nerves - as well as degenerative diseases of the hand. The unit performs surgeries to restore nerve function, tendon transplantation, tendon translocation, prosthesis implantation of the hand, and others.
Likewise, the unit performs arthroscopic surgery for wrist injuries and for carpal tunnel syndrome release.
