Main description
The Pulmonary and Allergy Institute of the Tel Aviv Medical Center treats patients with pulmonary diseases using all diagnostic and treatment modalities of this field.
The institute includes a consultation clinic for clarification, treatment and follow-up, invasive examinations, pulmonary function examination and a same-day hospitalization unit for intensive, daytime treatments utilizing intravenous infusions and inhalation therapy.
These treatments are specified for patients who suffer from acute problems of the airway in order to avoid admission to the hospital. The pulmonary function laboratory of the institute conducts examinations that aid the treating physician to diagnose pulmonary problems suffered by the patients.
